Om hun taken overeenkomstig de eisen van deze verordening en de nationale regels uit te voeren, moeten de betrokken markttoezichtautoriteit en de nationale gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit in kennis worden gesteld van elk gebruik van het systeem voor biometrische identificatie in real time. De markttoezicht-autoriteiten en de nationale gegevensbeschermingsautoriteiten die in kennis zijn gesteld, moeten bij de Commissie een jaarverslag indienen over het gebruik van systemen voor biometrische identificatie in real time.
