### 3(1)

Deze verordening is van toepassing op de verwerking van persoonsgegevens in het kader van de activiteiten van een vestiging van een verwerkingsverantwoordelijke of een verwerker in de Unie, ongeacht of de verwerking in de Unie al dan niet plaatsvindt.
