The Romanian DPA has imposed a fine of EUR 8,000 on Artima S.A.. The controller had reported a data breach to the DPA. During its investigation, the DPA found that employees of the controller had accessed the video surveillance system and filmed the monitor containing the recorded images with their cell phones. One of the employees then transmitted the images to a third person, who posted the images on Facebook. The DPA found that the controller had failed to implement adequate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data.
