The Spanish DPA imposed a fine of EUR 12,000 on ALBOR ENERGÍA S.L. The controller used third parties acting as data processors for direct marketing purposes. The organisation of the use of data processors did not happen in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The original fine of EUR 20,000 was reduced to EUR 12,000 due to immediate payment and admission of responsibility by the controller.
