De Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP) heeft kennisgenomen van het officiële Omnibusvoorstel van de Europese Commissie. De Commissie zegt hiermee verschillende wetten, waaronder de Algemene verordening gegevensbescherming (AVG) en de AI-verordening, te willen aanpassen om digitale regelgeving te vereenvoudigen. Dat streven is te begrijpen, zolang het de rechten van mensen niet aantast.
