Deze zaak betreft het vermeende falen van de nationale autoriteiten om de klachten van verzoekster te onderzoeken over de publicatie van haar privéfoto's en -video's op Facebook die stonden op een door de overheid in beslag genomen computer, vergezeld van beledigingen en bedreigingen aan haar adres. Dit lijkt op de in Nederland strafbare doxing. Het EHRM herhaalt het belang van foto's in relatie tot art. 8 EVRM (r.o 28). Het volledig negeren van de klacht van de betrokkene maakt dat er sprake is van een schending van 8 EVRM.
