De Spaanse autoriteit voor gegevensbescherming (DPA) heeft een boete van 10.043.002 euro opgelegd aan Aena, S.M.E., S.A. De verantwoordelijke partij voerde een proefproject uit met meerdere luchthavens, waarbij onder andere gezichtsherkenningssystemen werden gebruikt.
