De Spaanse autoriteit voor gegevensbescherming (DPA) heeft GRUPO BONATEL SL een boete van 18.000 euro opgelegd. De verantwoordelijke partij heeft een datalek ervaren als gevolg van onvoldoende technische en organisatorische maatregelen om de gegevensbeveiliging te waarborgen. De oorspronkelijke boete van 30.000 euro is verlaagd tot 18.000 euro vanwege de directe betaling en de erkenning van verantwoordelijkheid door de verantwoordelijke partij.
