De Italiaanse gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit heeft een boete opgelegd aan Poste Vita S.p.a. De verantwoordelijke partij heeft nagelaten voldoende technische en organisatorische maatregelen te implementeren om de gegevensbeveiliging te waarborgen. Hierdoor is een derde partij erin geslaagd een medewerker te misleiden om gevoelige persoonlijke gegevens door te sturen, die vervolgens tegen de betrokkene zijn gebruikt.
