De Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP) heeft een protocol goedgekeurd met voorwaarden voor vrachtvervoerders, opslagbedrijven en expediteurs om chauffeurs te weigeren die eerder betrokken waren bij diefstal van een vrachtwagenlading. Organisaties die werken volgens de voorwaarden in dit protocol Veilig Vrachtvervoer, krijgen van de AP een vergunning om gegevens over die personen te delen.
