The Spanish DPA has imposed a fine of EUR 42,000 on WORLD 2 MEET, S.L. The controller requires its guests to provide a copy of their identity card or passport for registration purposes, even though providing only the necessary data would suffice. The original fine of EUR 70,000 was reduced to EUR 42,000 due to immediate payment and admission of responsibility by the controller.
