Political Microtargeting, Manipulation & Tracking In March 2023, noyb filed complaints against several German political parties: During the 2021 elections, CDU, AfD, SPD, Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, Die Linke and the Ecological Democratic Party illegally used political microtargeting to attract voters. Now, almost two years later, we are just one day away from the next federal election. However, the competent Data Protection Authorities still haven’t decided these cases – and political parties still use microtargeting. A well-know threat to democracy therefore continues.
